Good morning planners, its that time of year again..........Valentine's Day. Every year I struggle with original ideas that are heartfelt, but not too cheesy or expensive. Below are some ideas that I have used in the past as well as what I am doing this Valentines day for the man I love. 1.) 52 cards with 52 reasons I love you. One of the first gifts I gave to my now fiancé during our long distance relationship was a box of homemade chocolate pretzel sticks, and a deck of cards naming all of the reasons that I love him. I had originally heard this idea from a person, but found this photo on Pinterest for an example. This was an inexpensive way to show how much I loved him, and how much I cared. all it took was: *deck of cards from the dollar store *sharpie *paper *scissors *tape *ribbon or an unused hairtie I wrote out all if the reasons that I loved him, cut them out, and taped each reason to a different card. You can hole punch, each card, and lace ribbon through them, or I just left the deck alone, and held the deck together by using a fancy hairtie. 2.) A photo collage. This was my present to my fiancé this year for Christmas, but it is a great present for any holiday. I got the frame from Kohl's at a very inexpensive sale price, I printed the photos out in black and white on photo paper, and backed the photos with scrapbook paper. the entire project cost about $15.00 3.) Handmade Cards This handmade card was very inexpensive, and very simple to make. I have a pack of seasonal 12X12 scrapbook paper which is purchasable for a variety of prices from any craft store. Shown above i folded the paper in half, and then in half again. If you buy a seasonal pack, you then have card paper for most every holiday. 4.) Date Coupons These date coupons are a super cute, super easy Valentines Day project. I printed the cards out on the computer, and wrote down things that I thought my fiancé would enjoy doing such as:
*A food crawl *A trip to a local Vineyard *Lunch in the park *Candlelight massage *Candlelight dinner of his choice, and a few others. I made several because I wanted him to be able to use them all year long. They are only usable one time. The coupons say void after one use, and I will rip it up to make sure of this. I hope you enjoyed these simple, inexpensive, original ideas for the one I love, now go and make them your own! I would love to see if you use these ideas this year be sure to tag me @createyou86 and #cy86febcollab be sure to check out Ty's Blog for some other Valentines Day ideas.

That was so cute. I miss doing efforts like this. I remember the old me doing a lot of this to my boyfriend. I guess that everyone have passed that kind of relationship phase. As you grow old, you become lazy in doing efforts that is why it touches your heart whenever you see posts like this. There are still remaining days before the Valentines day of 2019 and I hope that it would be a good day to me even if I am single.
