Come back tomorrow for (G) Give and Take.
Welcome to Reblog Wednesday on Createyou86 where I quickly share my favorite post from the blogosphere this week.
This week I came across a post called
Sorry Not Sorry from the Look Through My Lens blog created by Michelle Anneliese. I loved this post. Not only was Michelle non-apologetic, but she made some very valid points about what to not be sorry for. You may see a sorry not sorry post very soon from Createyou86 thanks to this awesome post by Michelle.
⬜⬜ What are you #sorrynotsorry for? Tell us in the comments below, and then be sure to go take a look at Michelle's post, and tell her what your #sorrynotsorry for!
Welcome to day five of the Createyou86 May A-Z Blog Challenge, and a discussion about my biggest fears ICK......
I don't remember when these fears began to bother me, but I can remember at a very young age having a fear of spiders. It has never mattered to me what size, shape, color or creed the spider was. If it was a spider, I was afraid of it....to the point of tears. Not girly fake tears, but torrents of tears that were, and still are to this day very very real. I don't even like having to look at pictures or videos of spiders, major arachnophobia!
One of my other fears is deep water. Don't get it twisted, I grew up with a ten foot deep swimming pool in my backyard, and was swimming by the age of two. Pool water does not concern me. However, deep water that I cannot see to the bottom of is a major source of fear for me. This causes issues for me at the beach where I have had several experiences with things that I couldn't see, rubbing against my legs as I was swimming. Consequentially, I don't spend much time in ocean water unless it is water like in Hawaii where it is crystal clear, and I can see my feet.
⬜⬜ What are some of your fears? Are you enjoying this series? Let us know on the comments below!

Welcome to day four of the Createyou86 May A-Z Blog Challenge. We hope you are enjoying this series!
it was a beautiful spring day, and I decided to spend it at the park with my dog Penn. The sun was shining, and there were other people in the park with their dogs. I decided to lay out a colorful towel, and hang out with my pup. While i was laying there soaking up the rays, a dog that looked exactly like mine walked up to my towel....
I normally don't think anything about a dog walking up to me because I love animals, but this dog was a spitting image of my own! Size, shape, markings, and personality. This was the point where I did a complete double take. Now, don't get me wrong. I have been told that I look like certain people or random celebrities, but I have never seen a relatively identical twin in person, nor do I think that I actually believe it existed. I was flabbergasted to see the woman standing in front of me, and I had to learn more about her!
We started talking, and we were completely similarly minded. We decided to do dinner at her place, and I graciously accepted. Upon arrival i realized that not only were her dog, and self similar to me, but the items that adorned her house were similar, and in some cases exactly the same as mine. I'll admit, at this point i was get getting a little freaked out. Dinner was amazing, she made one of my favorites lasagne. I felt like I had known Kristen forever! Yes, her name is Kristen, and we had so much in common. Our life experiences seemed to overlap, and she felt the same. As we finished dinner, and a bottle of wine, Kristen wrapped some lasagne leftovers up for me (my favorite food is cold lasagne!), and I called a cab to take me home. We vowed to see each other again, and exchanged phone numbers, and e-mail's. I arrived home from this amazing dinner with someone I felt I had known my entire life. I placed her contact info on my bedside table, and got into bed.
I HAD THE STRANGEST DREAM THAT NIGHT........
I dreamt of the entire night's encounter in vivid detail, which is very rare for me. I had the most amazing nights sleep, and popped up at the sound of my alarm. I looked over to my bedside table, and the paper where I had written down Kristen's contact information was gone. I began to recall the nights events, and I just couldn't connect the dots. I remembered laying on the couch watching one of my favorite shows on Netflix, and having lasagne for dinner. Was it a dream?
Thank you for following Createyou86 along with this blog series. We hope you are enjoying this experience.

Welcome to day three of the Createyou86 May A-Z Blog Challenge!
2014 into 2015 was a huge whirlwind for me. I moved 3,000 miles from everything I knew to start a new life with my now fiancé. In my transition I discovered the planning community on Instagram, and YouTube. Planning gave me new direction. I was suddenly writing important things down, and then came the decorating, washi tape, post-its, paperclips, and stickers. This lead to blogging and blogging about my new love for planning.
Soon came my need for more. Not just comments, and likes on Instagram, but people with whom I could discuss my everyday wins, and fails in the planning and blogging world. I also wanted to connect on a more personal level with people who shared my new passion.
Soon I needed more.
I created the Createyou86 Planning and Blogging Mastermind Group on Facebook. This was my idea for a small collective of people that I could learn to call my friends who had similar loves of planning and blogging. Although this is a closed group I found a bunch of great people to share with, and who share amazing content, questions, inspiration, and are always encouraging each other to be better at their craft. Of course we all have those BLAH days, when the blog isn't working right or we fall off the blogging bandwagon, or our planner stops being effective and the like. However, this little family has helped my blogging grow, and open me up to sharing my ideas with a select group who I know will tell me the truth regardless of what I think.
This experience has helped me build so Much character over the past year (this week is the end of my first official full year of using a paper planner!!!!). I am looking forward to possibly meeting one of these groupmates in NYC this month, and doing a sort of blogger meet-up! I am also looking forward to many years to come with this group, learning, and growing with them!
Thank you CP&BMG!
We are looking for one addition to our awesome group! We ask that you have a love for blogging, and planning. If you would like to join please email me with your Facebook information @firstname.lastname@example.org

Come join us tomorrow for D - Death to Adverbs
Welcome to Book Club Sunday's on Createyou86. Today we will be going through the first five discussion questions starting on page 3 of the P.S. section in the back of the book.
1.) What do you think is worse: telling lies, like Gretchen, or being so blunt it's hurtful, like Annika? Have you ever told a lie to spare someone's feelings?
I tend to be a very blunt person, but I'm not blunt to be hurtful, and I would rather someone be blunt with me than to lie to me, and not be truthful at all. I also think that we have all told a lie one time or another to soften a blow or spare a feeling or two. We start lying at such a young age.
2.) How is Abigail's situation similar to her mother's situation nearly forty years before? How does Gretchen's raising her as a single parent affect the choices Abby makes?
I think the fact that the father is kind of none participatory at this point is the main similarity, as well as the fact that the father doesn't know about the pregnancy. I think that Abby is looking for the unknown man to be Sam because she doesn't have the father figure in her life, and that can be difficult for any young woman. I think this drives her decision making at this time.
3.) Why do the Brink women jump to the conclusion that the stranger who 'fell from the sky" is Sam Winston?
There are plenty of reasons that these women assume that this man is Sam. He has the scar where the raindrop would have been removed years before, his eyes are the same stormy color, the walnuts ended up on the ground when the storm came through, and it had been previously barren, the women don't see it yet, but there are blooms on the previously barren walnut trees. The man found Sam's artifacts under the tree where he lay after the storm, and no one would have had them, but Sam. His facial features are the same as well, just aged.
4.) Have you ever had someone from your past—a lost love, perhaps—appear from out of the blue? How did it affect you?
I don't seem to have this issue, as some do. I have moved 3,000 miles from my hometown, and that makes it difficult to run into past flames, but even when I lived there I didn't often see past flames.
5.) How does the loss of one sense cause other senses to sharpen? Do you think Bennie and Trudy see themselves as anything other than normal, since clearly Gretchen finds their heightened senses extraordinary?
With the loss of one sense such as sight, you need to reacclimate your other senses to make up for the loss of the one. This may cause ones remaining senses to be extraordinary. I think that the girls see themselves as completely normal, but they mess with their sister by going out of their way to point certain "extrasensory" things out when they are around her.
Thank you for joining us for this discussion. Please feel free to leave your thoughts, and answers in the comments below! Come back next Sunday for the part 5 synopsis of this book "Faith".
We hope that you are enjoying this book as much as we are here at Createyou86!
Welcome to day two of the Createyou86 May A-Z Blog Challenge!
My last trip to the beach left me in wonder. I had come upon a letter in a bottle. What were the chances of that happening? I read the letter :
June 20, 1903
If you find this letter, know that it was thrown into the ocean a very long time ago, and the person who wrote it no longer exists. But, know that I was a happy person, and I send my happiness to you. Wishing you the best in life, and so much happiness.
Have you ever found a letter in a bottle? If not what would you imagine it would say if you did? Share your thoughts with is in the comments below!

A Room With A View
Fast forward fourty years, light travel has transported me from one glass chamber to another across town to my highschool. It was the choir room, but not the one I remembered so well with the step risers, chairs, and our beloved conductor up front. There are still angelic voices filling the air, but they were streaming from a sound system set up around the room. There are no children joking with their friends, and holding sheet music, but clear screens coming down from the ceiling with the faces of the students......at home. Children no longer attend school. The pollution, and climate change has made travel to school nearly impossible, so for their safety they are hearing the voices of their friends over computer speakers, and seeing their conductor the same way. Because of the strong bond i have with music, my highschool choir room will always be my go to "room with a view" (even though that room had no windows due to acoustics) I always view myself there. I had so many good times in choir with friends, and I learned so much about myself, and my art. I have been singing since I was four years old, and by my senior year in highschool I was singing over 100 pieces of music, and learning a ton about my special talent.
Where is your room with a view and why? Tell us in the comments below!
