Welcome to another book review here at Createyou86. You may recall that i did a post about another book from this series earlier in the year, and you can check that post out HERE. This book is a part of an original children's series that presents real life heroes like never before. The series highlights five superhero women of the Bible: Hannah, Esther, Abigail, Ruth, and Deborah. This series is setting out to present women in the Bible in a way that has never been done before. The goal is to have children weather boy or girl, connect with these great women, and find out what being truly beautiful is all about. Another point of this series is to encourage children to remember the names of these great women, their stories, and how special they are. These books are beautiful, and are great for bedtime reading, or even if your child needs to do required nightly reading for school. The writing in the book is large, and very easy to read. As a child i was pretty timid. I was the child that was seen, and not heard. I wish that i had a book like this when i was younger because i might be more outgoing today knowing that there were other great women in history that i could look up to. Let me know in the comments below what woman of the Bible you look up to the most?

Welcome to the third post in the November Edition Blog Series here at Createyou86. I just wanted to pop onto the blog, and let everyone know why i'm not further along in the series when i said earlier that i had up to next year already planned out. All of the above is true, except what changed is that I WENT BACK TO SCHOOL! In the first week of November i enrolled in the CDA (Child Development Associate) program through my day job. This program is three, eleven week college classes with two week breaks in between. I had heard from everyone that has taken the classes that they are so easy, and that they are just "common sense." While this is true it is also A TON of work (which no one seemed to mention.) I have about four assignments per week so far. This week includes a 1-2 page paper, a discussion question (3 paragraphs), 2 responses to other peoples discussion answers (another couple of paragraphs), and an hour long live classroom session, and more questions to answer). Even with everything planned out (in my new Recollections Creative Life Planner) it is still a ton of work! This past week i also bought a new desk because i couldn't find anywhere to sit comfortably, and quietly to do homework. One night last week i was sitting in the kitchen doing school work, and my mom was chatting with me, and before i knew it i was on Pinterest checking out Christmas presents to get my sister. I knew i needed my own space to do work, and not be completely distracted. I purchased the desk from The Christmas Tree Shop, and assembled it in an hour. The shelves are upside down, but I am completely okay with that. If i took the time to flip them over it would have been eight extra screws to unscrew, and re-screw. With this schedule i am literally doing school work most of the week, and i am hoping that the schedule will lighten up as the semester goes on. Here are part of my second week notes for you to check out. Another awesome side note would be that i had to purchase another laptop (even though i bought a brand new one about 2 months ago) because the live sessions for this class are not supported by chrome. Imagine how upset i was when i found that out. Based on that alone, if i had known that before the classes started i never would have taken the classes.
Thank you for sticking with me through this transition, and look forward to a few posts this week as we get ready for Thanksgiving (I have four days off to knock some blog posts out of the park!) Wishing you, and yours a very happy Thanksgiving! Let me know in the comments below what is your favorite food/foods to eat at Thanksgiving dinner? (Mine are turkey, and stuffing!) Welcome to the fourth post of the November Edition Blog Series here are Createyou86. I have been pretty busy this November, but i still wanted to get my November divider flip-through out to all of you. Attached is the YouTube video for you to check out! I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you are in the US, and be sure to check out my upcoming December Blog Series as well. Let me know in the comments below Do you use the same dividers year round?
![]() Welcome to another product review here at Createyou86. This book was provided to me free of charge from Flyby Promotions in exchange for an honest review. I only review products that i absolutely love, and as a lead teacher of a one year old classroom i can honestly tell you that this product is awesome. Even though I cannot use this product in my classroom i will definitely be keeping it for my future little one (fingers crossed!) Say & Pray Devotions by Diane Stortz teaches the basics of identification, and comprehension while sharing biblical principles for life. Each devotion offers a topical message to help little ones learn, and follow biblical principles. All pages are labeled so that little ones can easily identify everyday objects, and this book would even be perfect for bedtime reading. If you don't happen to be religious you can focus on the photos, and if you are religious you can focus on both the devotions, and the photos. Below is an actual photo from inside the book.
Welcome to the second post in the Createyou86 November Edition Blog Series. People are always looking for hacks, and shortcuts to use to stay organized, and take less time to plan their weeks, or months out. In this post i am going to share three planning hacks that i use EVERY WEEK to stay ahead of the game in my own planners. 1. Sticker Selection Keep the stickers that you use every week handy (I keep mine in a sticker box with tabs labeled "Weekly" which i know i use every single week regardless of the theme) If you use this hack you can simply grab the stickers that you use every week such as: trash, cat litter, laundry, cleaning, bills, work schedule, hydrate etc. without worrying about all of the other stickers that you have such as labels, holidays, and seasons. 2. Pens I use black pen EVERY WEEK. This is because it is bold, and stands out over the colored washi, and stickers that i might use to decorate my week on two pages spread. Make sure that you are using a pen, or pencil that you can read (they say that you will more easily remember things that are written in blue ink, than black ink.) Maybe i should try a blue Papermate Inkjoy instead of black? Whatever your preference, you should be able to clearly see your tasks written down so you can quickly glance at your planner, and not have to search for where you have written items in your planner. #3 Check Yourself At the end of every week make sure to check that your planner is REALLY working for you. This may be as simple as checking how many of your tasks were completed during the week, and it maybe as complex as creating weekly goals aside from your normal planning. If your planner isn't working, or you aren't achieving your weekly tasks something probably has to change. Don't be afraid to change planners, or update your planner so that it is always working its hardest for you, and your aren't working your hardest to make it work. I hope that you have enjoyed these three simple planning hacks that i use each, and every week in my planners, and that you are as excited about this series as i am.
Let me know in the comments below what is your favorite planner hack? Welcome to the first post in the Createyou86 November Edition Blog Series. This series will be all about my planners, tips, tricks, and favorites that you might find useful for your planners. Last month was all about fall, and this months posts will feature some special posts centered around the start of the holidays here in the US, including a planner face off. I always get questions about specific planners so i will be showing some of my oldest planners, and ones that i have just invested in. You can also check out some of those planners right now (if you are the impatient type!) by visiting my YouTube Channel HERE. I hope that you are excited about this series. I know i am excited to share all of the new content that i have created with you!
