Welcome to another book review here at Createyou86. This product will always hold a special place in my heart, not because I myself am a quilter, but my mother is, and throughout my life she has made several quilts for myself, my friends, and other family members. These quilts all hold a special place in her heart because of the hard work, and love that goes into making each one, and how special you feel when receiving one. Upon seeing the cover to this book, my mother immediately wanted to read it/check it out simply because it had a quilt on it. This particular book shares the story of Ramona Richards, and conversations based around quilting with her mother, and other family members throughout history. Each chapter begins with a small scripture, and ends with a moral. The chapters are short, and easy to read making this book a quick read. At the end of each chapter is a prayer starter which could also be used as a daily devotional. The photos in this book are beautiful, and vibrant. Some of the quilts mentioned in this book are more than 100 years old. Each reading provides a lesson, and encouragement from the faithful women who crafted them. Do you want to win a friendship quilt from the book?

My favorite quilt is still the first one I made. I took a machine quilting class and made a log cabin patterned quilt with this fantastic cat print. I made it for my cat-loving daughter when she was 6 and she still sleeps with it 14 years later, lol.

I've never been a quilter, but this book seems like a great tool for those that are!
