Good Morning Planners!
I frequently peruse YouTube videos, and Instagram pictures which have beautiful planners, and even more beautiful color coding systems. I for one have never been a color coder, and here is why. Although, I love the look of others planners, my brain cannot handle all of the different colors. not only that, but it adds to the things that I have to remember to do in my planner, and I like to keep it relatively simple. When planning, I use any colored pen that I can get my hands on ( I have never liked pencils), and am frequently using different colored tabs or sticky notes to keep track of or highlight events. However, none of these colors have a code to them, they are simply what I think look prettiest or match my weekly decorations for the week. Another reason I do not use color coding in my planner is because I have very distinctive dividers in my planner. Each divider is used for what a color code might stand for (EX: Weekly/Monthly/Expenses/Notes & Lists/Health/Passwords/Addresses) so if I did use color coding it would be horribly redundant, and redundancy is not efficient. However, maybe I could color-code if I had one that I didn't think was overwhelming So let me know what you think. Question if the week: Color coding or no color coding, if so, what system and why? Have a planned day, Createyou86
