Sunday's are book club Sunday's on Createyou86. Welcome to the review for Part 2 of Eleanor The Queen. This part of the review consists of pages 175-271, and questions 9-11 in the review at the back of the book. Synopsis: During part 3 of this book Eleanor is put in jail by Henry her husband. She is still Queen of England, and is locked away because Henry thinks it is Eleanor's fault that his children bore from her are rebelling against him. While jailed for the second time Eleanore befriends another jailed woman named Kate. Eleanore becomes very I'll thinking she has plague, and writes a will for her remaining children. While Eleanor is in Jailed she learns of her sons death. Toward the end of this part Eleanor has been in jail for 16 years, and does not know of her possible impending release. 9.) Eleanore doesn't trust her son because she has several memories of his trickery, even in very early childhood. He was nicknamed "slippery John". He also doesn't know his move ahead of time. He makes his plans as he goes.
10.) Alys let's Eleanor know that she would agree to anything that would keep her out of prison. Eleanor let's Alys know that there are so many kinds of prison. This just shows the different mindsets of women, and what one is willing to do for a man. 11.) Eleanore wins Kate over by singing songs, and telling her the story of Troy. Being in prison for so long, and not having Amaria around Kate becomes a friend to Eleanor, and a helper in her times of need. How are you enjoying the book so far?
