Secret #1 Update Daily Or Nightly

Welcome to the first post in the August  Createyou86 Planning & Blogging Secrets Series. Twice a week we will be revealing secrets of the organized planner (first 4), and secrets of the organized blogger (last 4). 

The first secret we are revealing in this series for being an organized planner is Update Daily or Nightly.

As a new planner you may still be working with your system to figure out your routine.  We get it.  We were once planning noobs too!  This can even go for weathered planners.  We highly recommend creating a daily or nightly routine for your planner.  This may seem minute, but reflecting on the day before, and moving forward any undone tasks can help you keep on task more easily.  This is precisely what I do each night/day.  I check off tasks as I complete them, and move anything forward that hasn't been completed nightly.  This system has helped keep me very organized, and not be caught off guard.  One of the things I can't stand is looking at my planner, and having forgot about something the next day that is very important or even just somewhere I need to be.
