Secret # 2 Limit Smart Device Times

Welcome to the second post in the Createyou86 August blog series Secrets of the Organized Planner & Blogger.  Tonight's post will be about limiting your time, specifically to your smart phones, iPad, tablets,  laptops, and computers.  We are a technology obsessed culture, and we need everything up to the second.  Do you ever just sit back and think about the good old days when you could leave the house without worrying about tweets, 957 emails, Candy Crush, and if you uploaded enough photos to Instagram today, and when you did upload them did they get enough likes?  It is crazy what we consider important, and need to know these days.  Need to know used to only be a phrase used by the FBI, and Homeland Security.  Therefore,  we say act like the FBI.  Make sure you are scheduling enough "You" time.  We realize that a certain amount of time might be necessary on social media if you run a business, but be sure to unplug at least once a day or at a designated time each week for your own sanitys sake.  Take that time to watch your favorite show,  unwind with a good book and a glass of wine, or even just take a power nap.  Or you could take some time to organize your planner :)  This time will help you be able to clear your mind, and keep your planner organized.  You could take this time each week to do a cleanout of unneeded extras in your planner.
